Councilor Tiffany Koyama Lane attended, spoke to her background, what she's done for the community, what she sees as priorities for the whole spectrum of what “community” is
She asked the floor for any questions
Affordable housing? How to plan to ensure it's there and what means re: parking availability and increased density downsides
She said if we have specific complaints or questions we can write to her and she'll respond
She reads every email sent to her
Transportation and road maintenance costs?
Prosper Portland window replacement process being exhausting and too slow
Portland being a permit nightmare
Vacant apartments and businesses
Councilor offered “Vacancy fees” as possible solution
She is looking into where the housing dollars are being allocated
Shay is leaving the board in April
We need a new VP
Job requires 15-20 hours of work each week
Thomas passed around the proposal for event management services for the upcoming street faire
